Gilchrist Farm hosts a Valentine’s Weekend celebration with special farm activities and themed extras from 9 am to 2 pm.
Enjoy regular farm visit activities including pony rides, horse rides, farm animal visits, wagon rides, farm train, archery, axe throwing, and Valentine-themed gemstone mining at The Gilchrist Mining Company. Special Valentine extras include themed crafts, pioneer arts, print photo opportunities, and treats for sale. Pet and pose with pigs, goats, cows, horses, and ponies, brush a pony, feed the ducks, and meet the tortoises.
Activities include:
- Pony and horse rides
- Farm animal visits (pigs, goats, cows, horses, ponies, ducks, tortoises)
- Wagon rides and farm train
- Archery and axe throwing
- Valentine-themed gemstone mining
- Valentine craft making
- Pioneer arts
- Print photo opportunities
No reservations needed for family activities. Activities are priced individually and purchased onsite. A separate Couple’s Dinner is available on February 14 only from 3-6 pm for $100 per couple with advance reservations required.
