All aboard! Visitors to the Thomas & Friendsโข: Explore the Rails exhibit will find themselves surrounded by everyoneโs favorite blue engine Thomas, his engine friends and the Island of Sodorโs iconic locations.
Children help Thomas and his friends solve a variety of challenges, from a simple sorting and shape identification activity to more complex engineering obstacles.
In the exhibit, children can:
- Climbย into the iconic blue train cab andย exploreย the engineโs inner workings as they whistle and steam
- Dressย in a conductorโs uniform andย loadย &ย sortย freight and baggage on to train cars
- Take a photoย next to a mural of Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt
- Createย routes or spurs with toy trains and track pieces,ย buildย bridges, andย travelย around the entire island at the Island Exploration Table
- Fixย Percyโs engine with oversized nuts, bolts, wheels, rods, and wrenches and get him ready to chug at Sodor Steamworks
