Cerritos Library is marking five decades of summer reading with a free, outdoor party full of hands-on fun for the whole family. This event mixes crafty, creative, and educational activities—something for everyone.
Kids can jump into balloon twisting, crafts, face painting, and even get up close with friendly animals at the petting zoo. Drone demonstrations and interactive STEM stations are on-site, too. There’s a photo booth ready for goofy family snapshots.
Teens and adults can get creative too: think flower-pressed bookmarks, mosaic art, rock decorating, or designing a custom tote bag.
Activities include:
- Balloon twisting & craft time
- Drone flight demonstrations
- STEM exploration stations
- Petting zoo & face painting
- Crafts for teens and adults
- Family-friendly photo booth
Everything’s free and open to all ages. Storytime sessions need advance registration, and craft materials are available while supplies last.
