Spring Spectacular | The Teaching Zoo, Moorpark

Spring Spectacular returns to the Moorpark College Zoo for two weekends of wildlife encounters, student-led shows, and animal presentations. This annual event highlights the training, care, and conservation work students perform with animals at the zoo.

Guests can watch two original scripted shows – Operation Conservation and Tails from the Wild Frontier – featuring animals from the zoo and showcasing the training skills students have developed throughout the program.

Throughout the day, visitors can also attend Eye to Eye wildlife presentations, Creature Features with guest animal professionals, and explore exhibits including Rajah’s Retreat, Ira’s Kingdom, and hands-on discovery stations.
