The Riverside Dickens Festival returns to historic White Park with its 2026 theme, “Oliver Twist: A Tale of Justice & Belonging.”
Escape to Victorian England and explore performances, panel discussions, and art inspired by Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. This year’s celebration highlights resilience, community care, and social equity through costumed parades, storytelling circles featuring disabled and youth voices, and historical exhibits on poverty, justice, and reform in Dickensian England. A community mural project inspired by “Please sir, I want some more” invites guests to participate in the literary experience. Festival hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
