The City of Lakewood’s annual Public Safety Day is a free event where families get to meet first responders and learn about the latest in emergency preparedness.
See demos from the LA County Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department, including search-and-rescue dogs. Get an up-close look at fire trucks, sheriff’s patrol cars, and meet the pilot and see Lakewood’s Sky Knight helicopter. Kids can also enjoy the family fun zone with a variety of activities.
