Saturday, February 14

Saturday, February 14, 2026

The International Printing Museum hosts Pixel Hearts & LEGO Arts (Pairs), an experimental letterpress printing workshop.

Inspired by retro arcade legends like Space Invaders, Pac-Man, and Mario Bros, creative pairs will turn tiny plastic tiles into pixel-style works of art. Sketch designs on graph paper, build images with LEGO tiles, ink up the press, and print a custom pixel masterpiece. Each ticket is designed for two participants, and every pair will leave with a collection of one-of-a-kind pixel art prints. The workshop runs from 12 pm to 4 pm.

Highlights include:

  • 4-hour letterpress workshop
  • LEGO tile design building
  • Hands-on printing press
  • Retro arcade inspiration
  • Take-home pixel prints

Tickets are $180 per pair. All materials are provided. Creative pairs are required, and one participant must be an adult. No refunds.
