OC Read Day brings families together for a free morning of crafts, games, books, and a tide pool touch tank. This special event is designed to spark a joy for learning while encouraging creativity and connection.
Activity highlights include:
- Painting a treasure chest, recipe box, or rocks
- Singing karaoke
- Playing board games
- Splashing in a water-themed sensory bin
- Grabbing lemonade and learning about the libraryโs mobile kitchen
- Encountering tide pool creatures
- Meeting community partners
- Bring home a book to build your home library
Books to build home libraries will be available while supplies last. The tide pool encounter will be timed entry โ first admittance is 10am and last is 11:50am. This event is free to attend and open to all. No registration is required.
