The USS Midway Museum hosts a special day honoring military history with two tributes: Heroes Among Us: 80 Years After WWII and the 250th Birthday of the U.S. Navy.
Families can meet World War II veterans, view model ship exhibits, and take part in a celebration of courage and service. Both experiences are included with museum admission.
Highlights include:
- Meet and talk with WWII veterans (11am–1pm)
- Hear stories of bravery and resilience
- See model ship displays by Joe Frangiosa Jr. (10am–2pm)
- Celebrate the Navy’s 250th birthday with cake, photo ops, and mascot Middie (1–1:30pm)
The event runs 10am–2pm aboard the USS Midway Museum.
