Native Storytelling Series at Southern California Children’s Museum

SCCM is honored to host a Native Storytelling Series featuring the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians in honor of Native American Heritage Month in November. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the ancestral lands that we occupy, native culture, and language in this native-led storytelling and craft series for families with children 8 years and younger.

11/6 Fernandeño Tataviam & Chumash Storytelling by Dennis Garcia
11/13 “We are water protectors” read by Lucy Alfaro
11/20 “Bowwow Powoww” read by Joseph Bodle
11/27 “The Story of Fast Runner” read by the ECLD Team
