Special Event Days: Saturday, March 7 & March 21, 2026
Celebrate all things ocean-inspired during Mermaid Month at Ventura Harbor Village. Throughout March, the waterfront destination transforms into a seaside celebration filled with mermaid magic, pirate encounters, live entertainment, themed shopping, and interactive activities for all ages.
Two featured Saturday afternoons (March 7 and 21) bring special activations including mermaid meet-and-greets, a mermaid dance party with DJ Darla, giant bubble shows, pirate ship concerts, steel drum performances, aerial acts, tropical bird encounters, live ice sculpting, chalk art, and hands-on crafts. Guests can also enjoy ocean-themed STEM activities, conservation booths, flower crown making, slime-building, bracelet crafting, face painting, and more. Select activities are available for a fee.
Additional month-long fun includes a Mermaid Scavenger Hunt, themed dining specials, seaside shopping promotions, and an optional Swim with Mermaids experience at Ventura Dive & Sport on March 7 and 21. Costumes are encouraged.
