Join in the City of Lakewood’s annual tribute to the men and women who have sacrificed their lives while serving in the United States armed forces. The ceremony includes:
- Flag Presentation by Lakewood High School NJROTC
- Musical Tribute by Golden Sands Chorus
- Live Performance of “Taps”
- Bagpipe Performance of “Amazing Grace”
- Reading of Dennis Lander’s poem,ย The Boys of Del Valle Park, by Captain Don McMackin, U.S. Navy, Veteran of Afghanistan, and former NJROTC instructor.
