Holidays at the Harbor – Dana Point Harbor

Each night throughout the holiday season, the Harbor’s magnificent light display will illuminate the evening sky for guests of all ages to enjoy. Light displays include giant whale sculptures, lighted palm trees, Christmas trees, a giant Adirondack chair, and the popular “Merry Kiss Me” arch. Locals and visitors alike can enjoy strolling carolers, holiday-themed photo ops, visits with Santa, waterfront restaurant offerings, boutique holiday shopping and more.

Boat Parade of Lights
December 10-12
The Harbor’s much anticipated annual Boat Parade of Lights will take place with a “Fiesta Holiday” theme. Boaters decorate their vessels to the theme of the parade, for a chance to win cash prizes across several award categories. The Boat Parade kicks off at 7:30 pm on December 10 and 11 and at 6 pm on December 12.

Boat Rides with Santa
December 4-5
Dana Wharf Sportfishing & Whale Watching will host Boat Rides with Santa. Take photos with Santa and his holiday helpers on this adventure at sea for a $5 donation. Reservations required.

Menorah Lighting
The 12-foot Menorah will remain at the pier for the duration of Hanukkah. There will be local dignitaries, hot latkes, doughnuts, music, coffee, dreidels, chocolate gelt, crafts for kids and more.
