Weekend, February 28 – March 1, 2026
9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Celebrate Hinamatsuri, the traditional Japanese Girls’ Day festival honoring the health and happiness of girls. Guests can view beautifully arranged Hina Dolls on display in partnership with the Japanese American National Museum and learn about the cultural significance of this time-honored tradition.
Families can participate in crafts and presentations throughout the day, while a matcha vendor offers samples and products onsite (Sunday from 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). The dolls are traditionally believed to bring protection and good fortune, making this event both educational and meaningful.
