Coastal Cleanup Day is an international volunteer effort to protect oceans, watersheds, and wildlife from plastic pollution and debris. Heal the Bay coordinates more than 70 cleanup sites across Los Angeles County, giving families the chance to pitch in at beaches, parks, trails, and neighborhoods. This year also features the โTrashure Hunt,โ a scavenger hunt with hidden items and prizes.
Highlights include:

The event runs 9am-12pm. Free to participate, but registration and signed waiver required. Families are encouraged to bring reusable gloves, buckets, and water bottles.
