Halloween in the Garden at the LA Arboretum – Trick or Treat, Workshop, Night Hike and “Thrill the World”!

Spooky season is here, enjoy trick or treating, workshops and more seasonal events happening at the Los Angeles Arboretum.

Pumpkin Fairy Gardens Workshop (intended for ages 4-10) – Build enchanting fairy gardens inside a real pumpkin! Delight in the ooey-gooey process of scooping out pumpkin guts while planting succulents and charming fairy decorations inside.

1pm-2:30pm and 3pm-4:30pm
Cost:
$20/person

Trick or Treat – Search for trick-or-treat stations and discover fun facts about the plants at each destination. Visit snakes, a bearded dragon and learn all about these creatures. Family’s will receive map of trick or treat route with educationcal information about the station – registered children will receive a bag to collect treats in.

Family Adventure Night Hikes: The Ghoulish Garden – A garden walk all about the spookiest, creepiest plants in the garden. Come meet and examine all the creepiest plants in our garden. This family friendly hike caters to a multi-generational crowd with an emphasis on sensory experience and fun activities.

Time: 5:30pm – 7pm
Cost: $20/person

Thrill the World – Thrill the World is an international dance event and world-record-breaking-attempt during which every-day people in communities all over the world come together to perform the iconic “Thriller” dance routine – on the same day, at the same time globally! Dancers perform in unison at locations throughout the world, and participants range from children and adolescents to seniors. This year the LA-based Thrill the World dancers will be performing at the Arboretum! Come witness this special performance and be a part of history!
