To celebrate Griffith Park’s 125th anniversary, the Autry Museum will be free on Saturday, November 13! Visitors have the opportunity to see the exhibition Investigating Griffith Park and join special programs all connected to L.A.’s favorite park.
Docents will be stationed outside in the museum’s plaza to share the multi-layered history tied to where the Autry now sits, such as the history of the Feliz Rancho, the Griffith and National Guard airfields, and Rodger Young Village.
This is part of a larger celebration by L.A. Conservancy, the City of L.A. Department of Recreation and Parks, and other organizations. For more events happening the same day, visit the L.A. Conservancy website.
