Full Moon Festival in Joshua Tree

April 11-12, 2025

This two-day, family-friendly festival celebrates the desert as a source of creativity, wellness, and wonderโ€”set under the glow of the full moon. Activities like telescope viewing, youth S.T.E.A.M. workshops, desert storytelling, crafts, solar scope demos, music, dance performances (with a masterclass), and ranger talks. Optional paid workshops include glow-in-the-dark painting and gold panning.

Events take place in two locations: The Sky’s the Limit Observatory, 9697 Utah Trail & 29 Palms Historical Society/Old Schoolhouse Museum
