Start the day with the annual parade, enjoy 2-hours of floral floats, talented marching bands, and impressive equestrians that grace the procession. The parade embarks on its 1 1/2-mile journey at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Ave. and Mednik Ave. in East Los Angeles. Then celebrate the vibrant and rich culture, history and traditions during Mexican Independence Day at the festival with cultural food, music, dances, and exhibits.
