The Southern California Railway Museum brings back Dinosaur Express, an outdoor, interactive experience created in partnership with PBS. Families can meet Buddy the Dinosaur from the PBS SoCal show Dinosaur Train and explore activities centered on paleontology, science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
The day features appearances by the museum’s resident dinosaurs — Lary, Pery, Spike, and Wigwag — along with baby dinos learning to be train conductors on each ride.
New this year is the LEGO Masterbuild Competition, a showcase of LEGO creations, colorful displays, and hands-on build zones for classic bricks and duplo.

The museum is open 9am-5pm, with programming 10am-4pm. Buddy meet-and-greet times are 10am, 11am, and 1pm; Buddy Dance Party at 12pm and 2pm. Tickets: Adults $21.20 pre-sale ($25 day-of), Youth $11 pre-sale ($15 day-of), ages 2 and under free.
