Dino Fest at Natural History Museum

Dino Fest celebrates its 10th year with a full day of prehistoric fun at the Natural History Museum. Families can meet paleontologists, see rare fossils, explore the Dinosaur Hall, and learn about the modern descendants of dinosaurs—birds! The festival also includes live shows, hands-on activities, films, and plenty of dino-themed fun from morning to evening.

Highlights include:

  • Rare fossil specimens and Dinosaur Hall tours
  • Live bird flight demos
  • Hands-on art and science activities
  • Free screenings of Why Dinosaurs? and Walking with Dinosaurs
  • Puppet walkabouts and kids’ programs
  • Storytime, LEGO building, and screenprinting activities
  • Stage presentations and fossil demos

The event runs 10am-5pm. Admission is required, with some activities first come, first served.
