The Comics Art and Literacy Expo (CALE) returns for its ninth year as a community celebration of reading, storytelling, and creativity through comics and graphic art. The event is presented through a partnership between the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and A Place Called Home.
Designed to encourage young readers and artists to connect with storytelling, the expo features art workshops, comic-focused activities, and opportunities to meet local artists and organizations working in comics and visual storytelling.
Visitors can enjoy free book giveaways, live screen printing demonstrations, raffle prizes, and special guest appearances throughout the day. The event takes place in the new NHM Commons Wing at the Natural History Museum.
