The Cherry Blossom Festival at the Japanese Friendship Garden is one of San Diego’s largest cultural festivals. Families can visit the Children’s Area for games and kid-friendly activities. Live performances include taiko drums, geisha opera performance, Japanese lion dance, cosplay contest, and kendo demonstrations. There’s also a beer and sake garden and vendors.
