Weekend, February 20 – March 1, 2026
The Norris Theatre presents Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as part of its Conservatory Main Stage Production. Based on the beloved novel by Roald Dahl, this family-friendly musical brings Willy Wonka’s magical factory to life with young performers ages 10–16.
The production features an original score by Marc Shaiman with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman, and a book by David Greig. The musical also includes songs from the classic 1971 film such as “The Candy Man,” “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket,” “Oompa Loompa Song,” and “Pure Imagination,” as Charlie Bucket and fellow golden ticket winners journey through chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels, and the great glass elevator.
Performance dates include February 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and March 1, 2026. Showtimes vary by date.
