In celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, the Getty hosts an event focused on Southern California’s Native American cultures, with this year’s theme highlighting flora. Attendees can enjoy activities such as a cyanotype workshop, create Tongva clapper sticks, participate in traditional music and dance performances, savor a tasting menu inspired by Indigenous ingredients, watch films by Native artists, attend live poetry readings, and take guided tours of the gardens to learn about native plants and their cultural significance.
