Watch the Artemis II splashdown live during this interactive family event at the San Diego Air & Space Museum.
Gather in the Pavilion of Flight to follow Orion’s return to Earth on a massive LED screen, from re-entry to parachute deployment and splashdown. The event invites families to experience this historic moment in real time alongside other space enthusiasts.
Starting at 4:30pm, explore hands-on activity stations including heat shield experiments, stomp rocket launches, robotics builds, and creative space-themed projects. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in pajamas and enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
This event is included with museum admission. Half-price admission is available for guests arriving at 4pm or later, and members enter free.
