The Aquarium of the Pacific hosts its twenty-fourth annual African American Festival, featuring music, dance, storytelling, and historical displays throughout the weekend.
Experience live presentations including hip hop and break dance, drum circles, storytelling, and live bands. Visit participating booths with displays and attend the Aquarium’s Heritage Award ceremony. Festival programming takes place throughout the day in the Honda Blue Cavern and Honda Pacific Visions Theater, with 15–20 minute presentations scheduled from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. The event runs from 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
