Discovery Cube hosts an Impact Event at the Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy with hands-on conservation activities for families.
Participate in conservation work in the wetlands (ages 8+) or harvest and plant seeds in the nursery (all ages). Discovery Cube’s Impact Events deliver interactive learning experiences that inspire children and people of all ages to embrace science as a tool for creating positive change. Two shifts are available: 9:00 AM-11:30 AM or 12:30 PM-3:00 PM.
Activities include:
- Conservation work in the wetlands (ages 8+)
- Harvesting and planting seeds (all ages)
Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes, a reusable water bottle, and bug spray.
