The Beauty of Christmas Open House at Sherman Library & Gardens

At The Beauty of Christmas, guests can shop at the Garden Shop, full of seasonal plants, beautiful handmade items and unique holiday gifts. Visitors will enjoy complimentary home-baked cookies, coffee and tea, as well as free admission to the Gardens. While there, explore The Gardens and enjoy the 2.2 acre horticultural retreat!

Nights of 1000 Lights – Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona del Mar

DECEMBER 10-13 and 17-22: Stroll through Sherman Gardens safety this holiday season and experience a dazzling display of lights and entertainment. Listen to old time Appalachian music, boogie through the Disco Inferno, strut down the Technicolor light tunnels, add your wish to the wishing tree, and discover surprises throughout the garden.

Parent & Me Painting Class – Sherman Library & Gardens

FEBRUARY 13: Create your own nature journal and fill the first page with a flower! You will work together to observe the colors and qualities of a beautiful Camellia bloom from the garden and use simple watercolor techniques to create your own botanical portrait.

Kids Class: Grow Your Own Tomatoes at Sherman Gardens

APRIL 3: Register early––class size is limited! Kids bring your parents and learn how to grow your own tomatoes this summer. You’ll be off to a great start with your own tomato plant and everything you need to know to plant and care for it. You and your family can look forward to harvesting sun-ripened tomatoes all summer long.
