DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 21\, 2026 \nCity of Pasadena and the Black History Planning Committee present the 44th Annual Black History Festival celebrating community culture and resilience. \nEnjoy youth performances from local middle and high school talent\, live entertainment\, food trucks\, and community resource booths at Robinson Park. The festival features local sports legend Walt Butler as Grand Marshal\, honoring his decades of service to the community. This year’s theme is “Unifying the Culture & Protecting Our Freedom\, Passing the Baton to the Next Generation.” The classic car show returns\, though the parade will not take place this year. \nFestival highlights: \n\nYouth performances from local schools\nLive entertainment and cultural performances\nClassic car show\nFood trucks with diverse selections\nCommunity resource booths\nGrand Marshal Walt Butler recognition\n\nThe free event runs from 10 am to 3 pm.
