DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 4\, 2026 \nOlvera Street hosts its annual Blessing of the Animals\, a free family and pet-friendly tradition that dates back to the street’s founding in 1930. \nArchbishop Jose Gomez offers a blessing to animals present from 2-3pm\, with the blessing line beginning at 1pm in front of the Pico House. Live entertainment runs from 12-4pm. All animals are welcome — whether they live on land\, in water\, or fly in trees — and participants do not need to be Catholic to take part. \nWhat to expect: \n\nBlessing by Archbishop Jose Gomez (2-3pm)\nBlessing line begins at 1pm at the Pico House\nEntertainment from 12-4pm\nAll pets and animals welcome\n\nThis is a FREE event. Note that trailer parking is not available.
