DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, May 9\, 2026 \nHead to the park for an afternoon of art\, movement\, and community at Clockshop’s annual Kite Festival. \nThis year’s theme\, Take a Breath\, celebrates the wind\, open skies\, and shared space that bring people together. Families can spend the day building kites\, enjoying live music\, and watching the sky fill with color. \nWhat to expect: \n\nFree kite-making and art workshops (all supplies provided)\nArtist installations and large-scale inflatable sculptures\nHandcrafted kite competition for kids and adults\nLive music\, dancing\, and cumbia lessons\nCommunity booths and local organizations\n\nBring your own handmade kite to enter the competition or just come ready to create and fly one on-site. \nEvent is free; $5–$10 suggested donation. \n————— \nBefore You Go: This event is held by Clockshop.
