SUMMARY:Heal the Bay presents L.A. County Coastal Cleanup Day
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, September 20\, 2025 \nCoastal Cleanup Day is an international volunteer effort to protect oceans\, watersheds\, and wildlife from plastic pollution and debris. Heal the Bay coordinates more than 70 cleanup sites across Los Angeles County\, giving families the chance to pitch in at beaches\, parks\, trails\, and neighborhoods. This year also features the “Trashure Hunt\,” a scavenger hunt with hidden items and prizes. \nHighlights include: \n\nVolunteer cleanups at 70+ LA County sites\nHands-on opportunities for all ages\nData collection to support environmental science\n“Trashure Hunt” scavenger hunt with prizes\n\nThe event runs 9am-12pm. Free to participate\, but registration and signed waiver required. Families are encouraged to bring reusable gloves\, buckets\, and water bottles. \n
