OCTOBER 1-31: While engaging in a safe, self-guided tour of their creepier collections, guests are invited to learn about trees that strangle other plants, the ingredients in common witches potions, flowers that are pollinated by bats, and other fun, eerie plants while winding their way through the garden.
SUNDAYS, JANUARY 10 - MARCH 28: Acorns & Oaks fosters parent and child bonding through tactile play with nature, crafts, songs, stories, and sensory integration. The program provides little ones (age 5 and younger) with a natural environment in which to practice and further develop all growing abilities, particularly gross/fine motor, cognitive, and social-emotional skills.
SATURDAYS, JANUARY 16 - MAY 1: This gentle, all-levels yoga series explores a nature-based theme each week with a correlating technique. Bring your own mats and blankets.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2022: On this fun, family-friendly adventure, guests will explore the love affair between plants and their pollinators while discovering the botanic biology that makes it all possible.
JUNE 17: Grab your favorite stuffed animal and join the Los Angeles Arboretum's celebration of the beginning of summer while enjoying music, crafts, storytelling, and a fun photo op!
JULY 30: Join to experience a magical night through the garden to hear fascinating fairy-tales around the world and discover the flowers and trees that inspired them!
AUGUST 20: Bring your family to a sensory-sensation night hike to explore the strangest, bumpiest, fuzziest, and smelliest plants in the Arboretum's collection, find out how these fancy adornments help them survive!
NOVEMBER 11 - JANUARY 8: Wander through dazzling displays of color, light and sound that include the spectacular Winter Cathedral.
MARCH 25: Celebrate the beautiful peacock at the LA Arboretum. Enjoy interactive activities including discovery tables, guided peacock walk, colorful crafts, DIY face painting, complimentary photo booth, and more.
MARCH 25: Families will be guided through different parts of the Arboretum at night to learn about different things during themed hikes. This month, learn about prehistoric plants make a "fossil" to take home.
APRIL 7: Visit The Arboretum for an egg-ceptional celebration with egg scrambles (race to collect eggs), spring crafts, scavenger hunts, bunny photo ops, surprise guests, DJ entertainment, and picnic boxes available for pre-order.
