DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, September 19\, 2026 \nCast a line at the annual La Mirada Youth Fishing Derby\, held at La Mirada Regional Park. \nStart the morning with a free pancake breakfast (7am)\, then fish the stocked lake from 8am to 11am. Fishing lessons are provided by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. \nEach young angler goes home with a souvenir shirt and photo. Awards are presented directly after fishing wraps up.
