Join the fun at the 13th annual Spring Faire and Butterfly House opening. View the Youth Art Exhibit, taste delicious food from local restaurants, decorate the family with face paint, play nature games and see a live Bird Presentation.

Enjoy a classic nature themed book under the canopy of our tallest trees while your family relaxes together on a blanket or towel. Afterward, children and their adults will participate in hands-on activities related to the theme of the book.

Kids (3-5) and their adult guardians can take part in activities designed to encourage exploration and to build little ones' growing physical and cognitive skills.

Little Naturalist programs are outdoor experiential education classes designed for 3-5 year olds and their adult guardians. Activities are designed to encourage exploration and discovery and to enrich a child’s emerging physical and cognitive skills.

Read “Worm Weather” by Jean Taft, meet the SuperWorms, make Play Dough Worms, and do some Worm Track Painting.

Enjoy reading “The Pet Dragon” by Christoph Niemann, meet a Dragon, and create Chinese Nature Symbols with sand painting.

February 17-20: Educational outdoor fun for campers in grades K-6. Each day, campers will participate in exciting, age-appropriate, hands-on activities. Full-day and half-day available. Fee, $180-265.

APRIL 12-16: Spring Break Nature Camp will provide a learning experience while also giving campers the opportunity to get outside for fresh air, physical activity, and a chance to hang out socially with their peers.

SUNDAY, MAY 23: Tour the grounds in search of blooming natives. Bring a camera or your nature journal to capture their beauty, but please stay on the trail!

MONDAY, MAY 24: This self-guided Story Walk combines physical activity and literacy! Pages from a book are posted at stations along the route. As you walk through the Center, you are directed to the next page in the story.
