This annual event is designed to be both fun and informative\, giving visitors a chance to connect directly with their local fire teams while learning about safety and disaster preparedness. \nThis year’s theme\, “Forward Together: Building a More Resilient Los Angeles\,” highlights how innovation\, community partnership\, and preparedness are shaping a stronger future for the city. \nWhile most LAFD fire stations across Los Angeles will be open\, a few locations will serve as focal sites with expanded activities\, demonstrations\, and special displays: \nFocal Sites (extra demos & activities): \n\nFire Station 13 – 2401 W. Pico Blvd (Central Bureau)\nFire Station 112 – 444 S. Harbor Blvd\, Berth 86 (South Bureau)\nFire Station 88 – 5101 N. A one-day event that offers participants ages 10 to 17 a chance to interact with members of the County of Los Angeles Fire Department. This camp provides a unique opportunity to learn about the daily duties of firefighters\, lifeguards\, dispatchers\, and other public safety personnel\, explore the basics of firefighting\, and gain valuable hands-on experience. Activities include a light workout\, equipment demonstrations\, information on available career opportunities and youth programs\, discussion groups with various public safety professionals. \nEvent is free. \n
