DESCRIPTION:Friday\, August 15\, 2025 \nFamilies can explore textile art inspired by Griselda Rosas and create their own beginner-level weaving project. This drop-in program encourages working side-by-side to build connections through artmaking. \nDesigned for K–12 children and their caregivers\, the session takes place in the Education Pavilion on Level 2\, with families seated together for the duration. \nEvent runs 11:30am–4pm. Tickets are $10 per person (ages 3 and under free)\, available first-come\, first-served at the door. \n

The day is packed with hands-on artmaking\, music\, food\, and community fun centered around creativity and youth-driven expression. \nGuests can explore the new exhibition\, make risograph prints and zines\, screen print totes and posters\, and enjoy live music throughout the day. Food trucks and artist-inspired snacks will also be available at the museum café. The celebration wraps up with a special evening concert featuring artists from the show. \nActivities include: \n\nRisograph print & zine making\nScreen-printed tote & poster art\nLive music throughout the day\nEvening concert on Level 2 at 7pm\nFood trucks & art-inspired snacks\n\nAdmission is free and open to all ages. \n
