DESCRIPTION:September 6–28\, 2025 \nThe 24th Annual Festival of Children returns to South Coast Plaza for a month-long celebration of National Child Awareness Month. This year’s theme\, Love is a Gift\, highlights nonprofits that support kids through education\, healthcare\, mentorship\, the arts\, and more. \nEvery weekend\, families can enjoy live performances\, arts and crafts\, cultural showcases\, and interactive exhibits spread throughout the shopping center. The festival also includes the Canstruction® exhibit—featuring sculptures made from cans to benefit the OC Food Bank—plus special showcases like dance\, music\, and marionette theater. \nHighlights include: \n\nWeekend performances in Carousel Court and Jewel Court\nArts and crafts\, face painting\, and family activities\nCultural dance and music showcases\nCanstruction exhibit of canned-food sculptures\nClosing ceremonies with live entertainment on September 28\n\nAll activities are free and open to the public.
