Families can enjoy hands-on seaweed crafts\, touch tanks\, cooking demos\, and live music while exploring how seaweed connects art\, food\, and science. The theme this year is Urban Ocean Ecosystems. \nHighlights include: \n\nSeaweed pressing\, printing\, and collage art\nEpoxy pendant making and Ocean Jenga\nMeet mermaids of the Kelp Forest\nPuppet show\, science talks\, and video screenings\nVendors\, food\, and cooking demonstrations\n\nThe festival runs 10am–6pm at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. Most activities are free. Tickets required for workshops. \n
