Westside School of Ballet – Summer Ballet Programs
Westside School of Ballet is offering summer ballet programs for dancers of all levels, from Children’s Themed Day Camps for beginners to Summer Intensives for intermediate and advanced.
Children’s Themed Day Camps (ages 4-8)
June 12 – August 18, 2023
Ages 4-6: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 2:30pm
Ages 7-8: Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm
$575 per week, discounts available
Your children’s favorite storybook characters are brought to life through dance and design! Students will explore movement, music, scenery and costume creation in an imaginative and nurturing environment.
Each week-long day camp features a new and exciting theme, including: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin & Jasmine, Hip Hop Hooray, Jazz and more! Daily activities include Dance Class, Design a Miniature Backdrop, Design a Costume, and Music Exploration.
Teen Workshop (ages 11-18)
July 5-7, 2023
The Teen Ballet Intensive is the perfect program of study for adolescent students who are new to ballet, or have recently begun their training.
Intermediate/Advanced Intensives (ages 9-19)
June 19 – August 4, 2023
Led by Westside’s exceptional resident faculty and esteemed guest instructors, the Summer Intensives are designed to strengthen and nurture young dancers’ technique and artistry. Classes are offered in a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and more!
Advanced Workshops (ages 13-19)
Special guest teachers will lead three specially curated week-long intensives: Swan Lake (June 12-16), Balanchine/Serenade (August 7-11), and International Styles (August 14-18).
The legacy training school also offers programs for adult dancers as well.
