The Studios @ Long Beach Libraries
Billie Jean King Main Library and the Michelle Obama Library offer learning labs/maker spaces that offer 3-D printing, crafting and more. Mobile Studios are also available on a rotating monthly basis at all 12 branch libraries. Classes and workshops, such as computer coding, 3-D design and robotics, are offered. Hands-on STEM class for students ages 10-16 including woodworking, metal working, welding, 3D printing, laser etching, electronics & soldering, CAD modeling and more. Class levels range from 1 -4. All students start in level 1 and progress through level 4 upon successful completion of the previous level. Classes run throughout the year and include summer and winter camps.
