Lil’ Chef School Summer Cooking Camps

Beat the Heat in their Cool Kitchen!

Whether your child likes to bake, create, roast, sauté, fry, or just blend, LIl ‘ Chef has a camp for all interests.

Camps are organized into three age groups so all chefs team up with their peers: Tiny Chefs ages 4-6, Lil’ Chefs ages 7-9, and Teen Chefs 10 and older. All chefs will get to taste everything that they cook and all recipes will be sent home for later preparation. This is a hands-on cooking camp.

They are a nut-free school and can accommodate ONLY and ALL nut allergies. They cannot accommodate any other allergies and/or food restrictions. If children have gluten or dairy sensitivity they can participate but cannot taste.



2024 Sessions:

Week 1: June 3-7 “Daily Camp” – 9-12 pm – DAILY camp available
9 am-12 pm
Monday features Summer BBQ, Tuesday is Italian foods, Wednesday is baked goods, Thursday is French and Friday is for Chocolate candy. If you can’t make it for the full camp, select the number of days you wish to attend and then select the days during registration.

Week 2: June 10-14 “Kids Favs” – 9-12 pm
Cookies, mac n cheese, pancakes, cupcakes, pizza, burritos, sliders, donuts, French fries & so much more.

Week 3: June 17-21 “Italian Cuisine” – Two sessions:  9-12 pm and 2-5 pm
Learn to make pasta from scratch, homemade sauces, Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, tasty pizza, and fabulous Italian desserts!

Week 4: June 24-28 “Chocolate Camp” – Two sessions:  9-12 pm and 2-5 pm
Calling all chocolate LOVERS…this camp features yummy chocolate desserts, cookies, cakes & candies.

Week 5: July 1-3 “Holiday Favs” – 9- 12 pm and 2-5 pm – DAILY camp available
Christmas in July…why not? We will be making classic appetizers, side dishes, desserts, and main courses for your favorite holiday! If you can’t make it for the full camp, select the number of days you wish to attend and then select the days during registration.

Week 6: July 8-12 “French” – Two sessions:  9-12 pm and 2-5 pm
Let’s visit our favorite cafe in Paris and make homemade crepes, beignets, Monte Cristo’s, Ratatouille, freshly baked baguettes & more!

Week 7: July 15-19 “Summer BBQ!” – Two sessions:  9-12 pm and 2-5 pm
We will hit the booths and make funnel cakes, chicken tenders, ice cream sandwiches, French fries, sliders, pigs in a blanket, and more.

Week 8: July 22-26 “Baked Goods” – Two sessions:  9-12 pm and 2-5 pm
This camp is for the ones that love to bake! If you love cupcakes, breads, cookies, pies, and cakes…YES, everything from scratch!

Week 9: July 29-Aug 2 “World Cuisines”  – Two sessions:  9-12 pm and 2-5 pm
This is a fun camp to visit different regions around the world. We will feature Chinese cuisine, Mexican favorites, German pancakes, French sauces and desserts and Italian pastas from scratch.

Week 10: Aug 5-9 “Favorite Italian Recipes” 9-12 pm
Come taste favorite Italian recipes from appetizers to desserts throughout different regions in Italy. We will also offer some of the same recipes in week 2 and new ones too!

Week 11: August 12-16 “American Favs” 9-12 pm – DAILY camp available
This is a celebration in August – We will be making fun and yummy American foods – favs like the infamous mac n cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, apple pie, pumpkin cream cheese cookies, and strawberry shortcake. If you can’t make it for the full camp, select the number of days you wish to attend and then select the days during registration.
