LEAP Ahead with Downey Unified’s Early Education Program!
Downey Unified School District is thrilled to announce the launch of the Little Early Achievers Program (LEAP). Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to apply for their early childhood program that launches this fall.
LEAP serves as an extension of Downey Unified, prepping its students with the tools and care needed to build a strong foundation for TK, Kindergarten, and beyond.
Benefits of Early Learning Programs:
Children who participate in early childhood education programs are:
- More prepared for kindergarten and the grades following.
- Less likely to need remedial education.
- More likely to graduate from high school.
- More likely to be high earners in the workforce.
