Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University
The Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University has a collection that includes oils, watercolors, sketches and lithographs of urban and industrial scenes, coastal views, farms, ranches and landscapes of everyday life in the 20th century by California artists.
Through May 2: Enjoy their Los Angeles Area Scene Painting exhibit featuring over 70 works by artists from the early 1900’s to present day. The exhibition focuses on vibrant paintings of everyday life in 20th century Los Angeles and its surrounding region.
Through August 2: Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Original movie art from the Disney classic!
While on the campus, also visit the California’s Gold Exhibit and Huell Howser Archives, housed in Chapman University’s Leatherby Libraries. The exhibit includes images, text, and artifacts which outline Howser’s career and legacy in California.
