GIGIL – STEM Subscription Boxes

𝙂𝙄𝙂𝙄𝙇 𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙈 𝙆𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙈 𝙎𝙪𝙗𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙤𝙭𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙠𝙞𝙙𝙨! Each box includes up to 5 hands-on STEM activities (with all the supplies to do them!) each month that focus on the areas of 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮, 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 + 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝! Jr. Scientists also receive the link to stream a video lesson taught by a credentialed teacher that goes over each STEM concept in the box. How cool is that?

Why STEM? STEM education teaches children more than just science and math. GIGIL STEM Kits focus on hands-on learning with real-world applications to help develop a variety of skill sets including problem-solving skills, critical-thinking skills, productivity, social skills, communication, flexibility and initiative. STEM education also helps Jr. Scientists attain a curiosity for learning, decision making skills, leadership attributes, entrepreneurship mindset, and acceptance of failure. These skill sets will go a long way in preparing kids to be creative and innovative.

December’s STEM Box of the month is: “𝙍𝙊𝘾𝙆𝙀𝙏 𝙈𝘼𝙉”! In this STEM Kit, Jr. Scientists will have the opportunity to engineer, build and launch their own rockets! They’ll be using different materials and “fuels” to test out multiple types of #rockets. Each month the theme of the STEM Kit changes to offer a broad variety of subjects and topics.

GIGIL STEM subscription boxes are offered in two age ranges; TK – 1st grade, or about 4-7 years; and 2nd – 5th grade, or about 8-12 years. The TK – 1st grade box also focuses on sensory play and fine motor skills practices in addition to the STEM concepts. In place of this, the 2nd – 5th grade boxes incorporate critical thinking problems that promote self-discovery. In every STEM box, you’ll find all the materials necessary to complete the STEM activities along with activity guides and worksheets that will help navigate through each activity. We’ve taken out the prep work for parents. These boxes are meant to be an “open and go!” hands-on learning experience!

GIGIL STEM Kits can be purchased one box at a time, or you can sign up for one of our monthly subscriptions at a discounted rate. GIGIL STEM Kits are shipped nationwide and make excellent gifts for friends and family! During the month of December, we are offering personalized gift messages to be added to each boxes if they are being sent as a gift. Additionally, we’ve extended the ordering deadline until Dec. 7th (usually it’s the 1st of the month) for a Dec. 10th ship date.
