Chuck Jones Center for Creativity

Private and semi-private art painting lessons for children, teens and adults. Students learn techniques of painting, how to use tools, create brush strokes, mix colors, and create depth and interest through light, shade and color.

They also offer Creativity Workshops that gather Girl Scouts from many troops for imaginative collaboration. Their teaching artists will guide Girls Scouts as they earn badges relating to visual art and creative thought.

Drop in for their free Drop In & Draw program every third Saturday of the month! Each month, a cartoon character from the fertile imagination of their namesake, Chuck Jones, one of the fathers of Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner, will be the theme. Good for ages 5+. Program features activity stations with coloring sheets, model sheets on light tables, step-by-step instruction on how to draw the character and a construction project.
