California African American Museum
The California African American Museum highlights art, history, and culture of African Americans, with a focus on California and the West. CAAM strives to support the work of under-represented artists of color and to think expansively about the way African American artists have contributed to American culture and the world at large.
Explore African American history through their new, temporary exhibits such as Dust My Broom: Southern Vernacular, and Cross Colours: Black Fashion in the 20th Century. Visit their website for updated exhibit information.
Special events for kids, teens and families are offered throughout the year.
Exhibitions, programs, and events are always free and open to the public.
