DESCRIPTION:Every Friday\, January – August\, 2026 \nUpper Newport Bay’s long running and popular story time is back! Wild tales is offered every Friday and include an outdoor story time in the newly-renovated amphitheater\, an age-appropriate hike\, and a craft project in the classroom. Each session will have a new story\, hike theme\, and craft project. \nActivities are designed for ages 2-4 but all are welcome. \n

Students will work together in small groups to complete each part of the recipe. This course is for Lil’ Chefs who love Japanese food and want to learn how to make Authentic Japanese Cuisine. \nMenu: Miso soup with bok choy and udon noodles\, karaage chicken (Japanese fried chicken)\, and curry rice. \n\n  \nVegan Baking Workshop\nSaturday\, March 7\, 2026 – 5:30–7:30 pm\nAges 5+ \nLil’ Chefs will learn how to properly measure wet and dry ingredients\, the importance of exact measurements\, and how to follow a recipe.  Students work together in small groups to complete each part of the recipe. This course is for Lil’ Chefs who want to learn how to cook Vegan food. \nMenu: Creamy vegan pasta with vegan vanilla cupcakes and frosting. \n\n  \nLucky Charm Crispy Treats – Adult and Me Class\nFriday\, March 13\, 2026 – 5:30-6:30 pm\nAges 3-5. \nThis course is for the Lil’ Chefs\, ages 3-5\, who still need an adult by their side. This is a hands-on cooking class that allows adults to help their little ones measure dry and wet ingredients. Each adult has the choice to cook alongside their child or assist\, depending on their age and capabilities. We start with baking recipes where they will learn how to measure dry ingredients and mix various batters. \nMenu: Lucky Charm Crispy Treats. \n\n  \nIrish Food & Fun – Parents Night Out\nFriday\, March 27\, 2026 – 5:30 – 8:30 pm\nAges 3 and up \nThis is a great workshop for the parents to GO OUT and let their children have a fun-filled FRIDAY evening.
