July 4: Celebrate 4th of July with The Frida Cinema's Pop-Up Drive-In. Enjoy the classic film, Raiders of the Lost Ark, under the stars on the rooftop of a two-story parking lot.

September 11-13: Join the Ocean Institute and all of the participating organizations from around the world to bring maritime history, ocean conservation, and fun for the whole crew!
September 14-26: This free, two-week virtual festival promises to entertain, spark imagination, inspire reading, and encourage kindness and caring. Listen to stories, participate in activities, discuss current concerns surrounding racism and COVID-19, and hear from celebrities and bestselling authors.
SEPTEMBER 25: Join the City of Lakewood as they go live with Pacific Animal Productions to learn about the world's rainforests and their animals.
The festival may be virtual, but the fun is real! Enjoy dancing, art projects, and a food experience from the comfort of your home via live stream on Bowers Museum's Facebook page.
OCTOBER 1-31: Throughout the whole month, enjoy virtual activities including Halloween art, musical acts, contests, crafts and more. Then on October 24, experience the annual Halloween parade as a drive-thru event in Downtown Anaheim. More details to come.
OCTOBER 3: Wear your costume and put on your dancing shoes to take part in the Kids Imagine Nation high-energy, interactive show, where children can sing and dance along.
OCTOBER 18 - NOVEMBER 1: This year, the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) celebrates their traditional Day of the Dead exhibition and festival online! Participate in bilingual workshops, demonstrations, and conversations with artists and special guests. Enjoy a live streaming of altar creation, learn to make your own milagro, calavera puppets, paint sugar skulls, make hot chocolate and pan de muerto, and lots more!
OCTOBER 20: Make an embossed metal Calavera to celebrate Day of the Dead. Symbols of growth and rebirth will be worked into the traditional skull design for this unique work of art. Pick up all necessary materials/supplies during their contactless, drive-through. Instructional guides and video tutorials are provided.
OCTOBER 24: Join the first rehearsal for Beauty and the Beast. Ages 5-17 are welcome. The virtual performance will be held in January.
OCTOBER 25-31: The STEM Spooktacular is a week-long virtual event wherein students complete a Halloween-themed project. S.Y.STEM Coalition’s STEM professionals have developed sample activities, but you can participate with any project you'd like!
OCTOBER 25: Learn how to create an ofrenda and decorate a sugar skull.
OCTOBER 26-31: Join OC Parks for a frightfully fun week of virtual Halloween offerings happening on social media.
October 9, 16, 23, and 30: FrightVision is hosting a free, family-friendly, virtual Halloween. Activities include Sketch Night, Science Laboratory, Game Night, Tales Around the Fire, and more!

DECEMBER 13: Celebrate the Festival of Lights online! Enjoy a heartwarming community candle lighting and lively sing-along to get you feeling festive. Groove to klezmer beats, jam to psychedelic funk music, and gather around for a puppetry performance that retells the age-old Hanukkah story.
DECEMBER 18-19: Enjoy an online streaming of "Journey to Christmas" presented by Musical Theatre Orange County. ravel from heartwarming modern day family gatherings back to the very first Christmas, Journey to Christmas brings the story to life in a contemporary and theatrical style with beautifully projected imagery, stunning lighting, and of course a little Christmas magic.
DECEMBER 27: This festival will feature the beautiful Mexican traditions of Las Posadas, a re-enactment of Mary and Joseph seeking refuge for the birth of the Baby Jesus, among other celebrations.
DECEMBER 28-29: Shared Science is teaming up with the historical educational staff at Rancho Los Cerritos in Long Beach for a two-hour afternoon STEM experience on December 28. On December 29, enjoy a virtual Create a Critter class!
SELECT DATES, JANUARY 6 - MARCH 17: Join guest experts and Pretend City's Education Team in exploring hot topics in parenting today. Topics include parent self-care, family mental health, race conversations, STEM & number sense, etc.
JANUARY 12 & 26: Learn how, why, and when to write python code functions, the powerhouses of the cell! Instructor Burk will guide students (3rd grade +) through the codesters.com lesson as a zoom-along.
